I am sprouting tomato plants.
I will probably be in Texas when they actually start producing tomatoes,
but it is still fun to watch them grow.

Actually, Abi, I've discovered about myself that I enjoy the sprouting and growing process of these little gems almost as much as harvesting and eating the fruit! (and the bigger the grow, the more one must battle the preditors!)
it is a bit magical - watching them grow - I think.
maybe you can gift them! after you've enjoyed their magic, and right before you leave, I mean....
